Sounds like you have some concerns and have asked a good question! You can have one for each area but if I were in your shoes I would try to find an agent that knows both areas and could work with you regardless of where you were looking. A good buyer's agent listens to what you are saying/asking, you become a team and need to be comfortable with and respect each other, ultimately the goal is to find you that new home for you and your family.
