Working with my cousin and business partner, Michael Brown (a former McDonald-Douglas Aerospace employee and machinist foreman), I have come to expect great things in the service of both buyers and sellers. The Brown & Bennett Team -as we are often referred to as- has been built into a top-notch, lean force to be reckoned with, personally selling over one-third of our own listings in 2007...and on track to well surpass that in 2008. The key has been combining technical savvy with the will to work hard for every sale and the ability to hold together even the most difficult of escrows.
A 1992 Brigham Young University graduate (Bachelor of Science), I bring to the table a background in education, finance and negotiation expertise. I spent several years living abroad as an expatriate in Italy and then Asia. A former subcontractor to the US military, and having worked in an educational/training capacity for the Korean Interior Ministry's Suwon National Training Center, the Yongin National Mental Hospital, the Korean National Law Enforcement University, as well as for several private, non-political institutes, corporations, international trade concerns and private individuals, I received a formal Visiting Professorship with the Language Arts Department of Chosun University in Kwangju, South Korea. Upon my return to Arizona in 1999, I worked for the Bank One Corporation negotiating business lines-of-credit before, under some pleading by my way-too-busy Realtor-cousin Michael, obtaining my Arizona State Real Estate License and immediately joined him at the former Coldwell Banker Success Realty, eventually departing to join Russ Lyon Realty Company's expansion in late 2006, after Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage's buyout by NRT.
Extremely strong negotiating, and marketing in the "old school" sense of the word (beyond just taking a few pictures and slapping them on the internet), have helped us thrive in even our current, slower market. We are not afraid to break a sweat or get our hands dirty.
