In my first year of selling real estate in this uber-competitive market I have cultivated impressive numbers, closing 26 transactions totaling $6,015,850 with 7 pending for December for a total of 33 transaction totaling $7,444,850 as a rookie. I experience extreme success as a realtor because of my intelligent business approach. Ten years of contract and construction experience enlightened me to the importance of a superb supporting team of professionals. Recently I became a sales associate with the experienced team at ERA Landmark in Bozeman, an agency that offers exceptional sales training, promotional support, and generous mentoring by veteran agents. Due to my personal drive and ERAs’ professional direction, I have developed a self promotional line that is consistent in both message and design. The use of business cards, letter head, and my website convey both the connection with ERA and knowledge of my profession. Many forms of innovative advertising are used to attract new buyers and market listed properties. These promotions range from newspaper ads to direct mail postcards and contain the consistent theme of ERA professionalism. To maintain effectiveness and productivity I utilize educational and training opportunities offered in all venues relating to real estate and the financial industries. I have accumulated an astounding 44.5 hours of continuing education just this year. CRS, GRI, and RRS are all designations I am diligently striving to add to professional tool box. I am already RRS certified and a member of CRS and will have my second year of GRI in per portfolio in March 2007. My commitment to civic responsibility and the well being of my local community has driven me to actively pursue community service opportunities. Two imminent by products of my dedication to my community are networking and self-promotion, which directly contribute to my dramatic rise to the forefront of my field. I have donated my personal time to assist with real estate training courses, I have been instrumental in MDA and Habitat for Humanity projects and make monthly donations to The United Way. ERA Landmark’s annual MDA golf tournament sponsorship has been facilitated by me for the past two years, raising over $14,000 last year. This past Labor Day I also traveled to Billings, MT, as the only ERA representative, to participate in the annual MDA telethon. In today’s technology savvy market my production is enhanced by my mastery of real estate specific software and proven sales techniques. I have developed a Super Profile on TeamERA.com and keep my listings updated and current. I have learned to use the ERA Home Warranty product as a sales tool and promote it regularly at listing appointments. I am extremely active in my local realtor association board. I chaired the Affordable Housing Task Force this year and helped to spearhead the fight against Inclusionary Zoning as a solution. I worked closely with the South West Montana Builders Association and the Bozeman Chamber of Commerce to help develop viable solutions to the affordable housing issue and carry an alternative to the Bozeman city Commissioners. As the local Realtors representative on the Affiliates committee, I help promote local Realtors in their business and education. I regularly attend the Government Affairs meeting to stay abreast of local conditions in today’s real estate market. In my short term in the sales industry, I have determined that relying solely on floor calls, walk-ins, and open houses will not provide my aspired income. In an effort to achieve my business goals, I have also developed a community farm area and bi-weekly mails postcards of value or beauty along with periodic personal mailings. These mailings include Christmas Cards, ERA Landmark promotional items, and market updates. House Values, Just Listed, and RealtyNow are all internet lead sources from which I purchases approximately 25 month leads. A careful follow-up program monitored by Top Producer and utilizing emails from Bluetent Marketing and House Values helped me maintain a top-of-mind sales strategy. The end result has been phenomenal. My past client base is extremely satisfied with my services and I consistently receives repeat and referral business. Is’ firm belief in developing and maintaining personal relationships throughout the lives of my clients and associates has benefited my business ten fold. I have received the Gallatin Association’s Rookie of the Year award, RIS Media’s award for one of the 50 most successful sales associates in the Nation, I made the Beyond Excellence requirements in only 8 months last year and I have been awarded the Certified Professional designation from both Just Listed and House Values. Hard work and determination is evident in the success I have generated in my first full year as an affiliate with ERA.
