Fun Facts: We filmed a real estate TV show with HGTV. Watch for me in an upcoming episode of HGTV's "My First Place". This show captures the human drama of finding and financing one’s first place, and ends with the couple’s turnkey moment with a surprise housewarming gift. We first aired in June of 2007 and have continued pretty regularly through 2009.

"When chosing a realtor, I wanted someone who would handle the sale of my home as if it were her own - that's Jennifer Bowman. From the listing to showings to the closing, Jen handled every detail with impeccable professionalism. Buying and selling a home is stressful enough but when you work with her, you know it's handled! She is a master negotiator, she worked hard to get the most value for my home and closed the deal fast! I worked with Jen twice and she's sold both of my homes in less than 30 days each! She sells homes like she was born to do this job!"

"Jennifer did an outstanding job helping us purchase our first new home. She was very aggressive in getting the job done, but was also very courteous and went the extra mile to make us comfortable with the process. Even after receiving push-back on our initial offer from the builders, Jennifer was willing to negotiate and listen to our concerns and honor our wishes in getting us the home we wanted at the price we wanted. As a sales professional myself, I would definitely recommend her to anyone as an outstanding sales agent who knows how to get the job done right!"

Yes, a listing agent can continue to show a home that is under contract in order to best protect their client, the seller. The reason they do this is in case the current contract falls apart, as it often does due to inspections, financing, etc. It doesn't mean that the seller can or will kick the current buyer out of the contract, it just gives them a backup plan.

The amount you qualify for would also depend on what outstanding debt you may have, car loans, student loans, credit cards, etc.
I suggest Sheldon Baker at Bank of America 678-793-2322 or Donnie Crane at Fidelity 404-723-1163.
By the way, if you are interested in being on HGTV's House Hunters and are not already working with an agent please feel free to contact me.

What the home appraises for should have no relevance on what concessions the seller will make. It's the buyer's responsibility to get the appraisal, ordered by the lender. The buyer doesn't have to share the appraisal with the seller and usually doesn't.

I think there's great potential in Old Fourth Ward. My opinion is that intown living will continue to be desirable because of the close proximity to work, tons of festivals and events. A lot of people are getting tired of the long commutes from the suburbs. I think it's a cool area. By the way, I have an amazing old Victorian home listed in Old Fourth Ward.
