You received alot of good replies for your question. And it is true that to help you out we would need more info on what you are looking for and if you are going to commute to NY. I also come from Long Island and have lived here for 10 years, my husband commutes daily to Seacauss NJ to go to work and he wouldn't change where we live for anything.
