I was born in 1960 in Austin, Texas. I was raised in El Paso, Texas as this is where all of my Family lives. When I graduated High School in 1979, my Mother and her Best Friend drove me to College in San Marcos, Texas the day after Graduation. After a couple of years, I decided I wanted to move to Dallas and finish School at North Texas State University in Denton, Texas. I majored in Accounting but because I had been doing the Accounting and keeping all of the Books (A/R, A/P, Payroll, etc.) for my Parents' Furniture Stores since I was thirteen (13) , Accounting came fairly easy to me. Then, I decided I was playing way too much "Pac Man" at the Student Union Building instead of going to Class and I had better get a Job before I got "The Speech" from my Parents. I went to a Staffing Agency in Dallas and was placed with Lomas and Nettleton (the World's first and largest Mortgage Banker) as a Receptionist. From there, I advanced as far as I could go without becoming a Loan Underwriter (back then, it was considered to be an "honor" to be an Underwriter for Lomas but the placement length for that Position could run in to years). So I left in 1986 and began traveling the United States as a Contractor doing anything/everything I was qualified to do at the time for various Lenders, Banks, etc. across the United States (I have underwritten in every State but three). This was a great job as I got to meet some great people, many of whom are still Friends, learn the history of the City, Town or State we were in, enjoy various types of Food (I love to eat and some was good some I'm still wondering what it was) and go places I never would have been able to go to in my Lifetime. Unfortunately, when "Sub Prime" Lending hit a "brick wall" in 2006, there was no work for me so I decided to get my Real Estate License. I love what I do now. It's siimilar to Mortgage Banking as I still get to meet and help People and, since my last Assignment was in Hawaii, I fell in love with everything I could ever want in Life and decided to stay and begin my Real Estate Career. And that's my Story.
