There are a couple of ways to go with this. You can build a structure, the cost of which can start at $25,000 to $30,000 and go up from there, depending on multiple factors. Many contractors are looking for work, it would be worthwhile to interview a few, and dont forget you will need an architect as well. The other option is a Pole Barn structure, which is actually a metal building. Depending on the placement on the property, and the style, they can fit in nicely, especially in a more rural background. Go online and look, there are several companies that do this, and they range from $9000 and up depending on the extras. I actually have one on my property that is red and looks like a barn, and it took about 2 1/2 days for them to complete. Also, be sure you have the space on your property, your first call is to the buildiing dept in Boonton Township with the lot and block numbers to find out if there are any constraints to you building a structure. Good Luck! - Mon Jun 15 2009, 12:52
