Hello Weziana,
I too lived in Frisco in the early '90s when it was considered "the boonies" and the closest major grocery store was way down Preston at Park in Plano! You will be amazed at all the shopping (Stonebriar Mall is fabulous!) and great restaurants that are here now. Also, there is an abundance of family-friendly events and activities. You will rarely need to go outside of city limits for anything! The job market is good here because of the fact that so many companies see Frisco as a great place to do business. They are also aware that their employess have affordable housing options in Frisco and can maintain a high quality of life. Current ratings for every school in the D/FW area can be found on my web site noted below. Frisco school ratings begin on page 9. The schools in west Frisco are located in the 75034 area code, although there are a few areas in west Frisco that are in the Lewisville ISD. The FISD school directory provides map links;

Hope this helps!
