Where are you in your pursuit?
I've lived Intown since 1998, and all of that time I've been in APD Zone 6 - first in Inman Park, and now in Kirkwood since 2004.
I know that the most effective way to gain a better understanding of different neighborhoods is to do the following:
1. explore them during different times of the day and evening
2. meet folks
3. tour the neighborhoods with a savvy neighbor
I'm that savvy neighbor - if you want an early 2010 tour that takes you from Peoplestown and Boulevard Heights to "true" East Lake and maybe even a little Decatur Terrace (the best bang for the $230K Intown buck that I can think of) then holler at me...
