What is your agent doing about this? If you do not have an agent, now you know that you screwed up.
One cannot answer your question without knowing exactly what is holding up the process. One thing you need to do is to extend closing date by two or three weeks - immediately. Than you need to find out what is the problem - exactly - saying that somebody dropped the ball or having miscommunication is not an answer.
One cannot cure the problem without knowing what the problem is. May be you need an attorney or may be not. You can talk to an attorney who provides initial consultation for free; otherwise it will be $ 350 to start and more for a retainer fee. If you qualify, talk to Legal Aid Society - if you qualify, they will help you for free.
