Hi Jenny,
Manalapan is a nice town with a good school system but tends to be pricey. If you go a little farther south to Freehold or Howell you may find a good deal and they also have good school systems.
If you would like me to look up specific townhomes in your price range feel free to contact me. I am very familiar with Manalapan, Freehold and Howell and would be happy to work hard and find you a great home. I cover all of Monmouth, Ocean and Middlesex Counties in NJ.
