This is a co-op, not a condo building, so be careful when evaluating fees. There are many specific legal differences between the two types of units. The "fee" is currently listed at $672 but you are actually responsible for a shared portion of the building mortgage interest and the building taxes (not just those for your specific unit) which bring your fees to just under $900. Of course, this is only the publicly available information, so please either ask your agent to explain it to you in more detail or hire an agent familiar with this building and these types of transactions. - Wed Oct 22 2008, 18:17
