Specialties:
In addition to providing excellent quality and affordable consulting and transactional services for home sellers and buyers, I am an expert in the sales, marketing and evaluation of properties in common interest developments and have co-authored the book, "Homeowners Associations: A Guide to Leadership," with attorney John Paul Hanna. I have been a real estate expert and contributor for the San Jose Mercury News, RealtyTrac, and About.com.
For several years, I was the principal instructor for Coldwell Banker's START program in the field of homeowners associations, and have helped write the budget manual for the State of California's Department of Real Estate. I have also been a consultant to the City Council of San Jose and the County of Santa Clara in the field of community development and homeowners associations.
I have been involved in forward planning for many developments in Northern California and am proud to say that I have changed the way that people live in communities.
I have managed multi-million dollar housing and community renovations and have an excellent layman's understanding of construction from planning through execution. I have also been involved in renovating large quantities of units to provide safer or more aesthetic properties. I have recently worked with a building in developing green tract homes.
In essence, I love real estate.
