In our area (Cape Cod), the records of the registry of deeds are accessible to the public on the internet. Check your local registry. In addition, each town in our area has a town assessor's office from which one can request sales information. I have also found Zillow to have reports on recent sales by zip code, but the information can sometimes be lagging by months. The quickest and easiest way to get the reports you seek is to ask your Buyer's Agent to run the report from the MLS.
