Hi Danielle,

You've received quite a few differing answers on the subject so I'll set the record straight. Trulia does not include for sale by owner listings within our search results at this time. And as Fred explained, even if you post your home on a site that feeds listings to us, it will not be shown on our site if it is indeed a FSBO listing.

I should also note that, while Trulia does have relationships with many MLSs, by and large listing information is not automatically sent to us from the MLS. Franchises, brokers, and agents can submit listings to Trulia and this is how we obtain most of our listings. That means that if you do sign up for a flat fee service, the flat fee broker can submit your listing to Trulia.

I also want to remind everyone who answered below that answers need to be informative and address the question. Inviting the question author to contact you for the answer is considered spam and such posts risk removal from our site.

Thank you for your question. On Trulia, you can see recent sales in Tyler via the link below. Texas is indeed a nondisclosure state so the information isn't public by default, but home-buyers can choose to make their transaction public - hence we do have some sales records in Texas.

If you're looking for information about recently sold homes in another area, perform a search for that location and then check the 'Recently sold homes' box under the Listing Type filter on the left side of the search results page.

Hi Dave,

The sales and assessor information we display on our site is updated weekly however this depends upon the updates we receive. We license this information from a third party provider so we must rely on the updates they send and they, in turn, rely on the county assessor's office to record the information and make it publicly available.

If you have found that the sales information is available for this home, please direct us to that information so that we can share this information with our data provider and update the information.
