If a house is appraised at a higher price than it is selling for is the differance considered as part of the down payment?

Most likely not. Most banks are not going to give you a loan with out put some money in the deal. How ever depending on your loan you can look at putting the down payment in it. - Sat Nov 14 2009, 09:37
