Mario Popovici has enjoyed a successful 16+-year real estate career specializing in residential sales in New York City. Mario was intrigued by real estate at an early age, inspired by his mother in the business. He began working at an office in Forest Hills, Queens in 1997 and never looked back. He has since owned and operated two real estate offices in Queens, plus worked at several
other top-name brokerage firms in Manhattan. Mario has sold over 250 properties in his career which has involved individual sales, sponsor mass sales and on-site sales. He has also supervised entire projects from the first step of selecting the renovation material to the completion and sale of the apartments.
Mario's extensive professional insight is complemented by his personal experience as a longtime New Yorker who, after moving here from Romania at the age of eight, has lived in Astoria, Forest Hills, Woodside, Maspeth and Kew Garden Hills in Queens, on the Upper East
Side and in Hell's Kitchen in Manhattan, as well as in Miami and the Dominican Republic. Fluent in Romanian, Spanish and English, Mario loves the diversity of NYC, the changing seasons, and the wonderful people he has come to know and continues to meet. Besides his focus on real estate, he previously built and operated a bar in the Dominican Republic, and served as a managing partner-owner of a restaurant lounge in Forest Hills.
