After living in Tucson for the last 25 years, Don Vallee feels like a native. Having grown up in Vermont, Don is enamored with the climate in Tucson. As an avid outdoorsman, he is thrilled to be able to enjoy ample year round time to spend on his favorite outdoor recreational activities – golf, skiing, archery and staying in shape. Skiing is such a passion for Don that he easily holds his own on the Black Diamond mogul runs.
After working many years in senior management of a multimillion dollar archery manufacturing and distribution company, Don got tired of all the traveling and wanted to spend more time with his wife Kathy and their four children. As a self-described independent-minded entrepreneur, Don decided to put his sales and marketing skills to use in the real estate industry. Don achieved the Platinum Club level in just two short years and has since been awarded RE/MAX’s highest honor, The Chairman’s Award. As a member of RE/MAX’s Hall of Fame, Don has earned the Accredited Buyers Representative certification and the prestigious Certified Residential Specialist designation, which he shares with only 4% of the nation’s Realtors. He considers himself a lifelong learner, always seeking ways to improve himself and his business.
In six years as a high-energy, resourceful agent, Don and his wife/partner Kathy have proven their mettle by consistently exceeding 99.3% of other Tucson agents. Not content to rest on their laurels and let business come to them, the pair actively market their business in new and innovative ways. They evaluate their progress monthly then project future goals to ensure continuous improvement.
The Vallee Gold Team focuses on creating customers for life. Don and Kathy strive to return calls and emails promptly and to stay in touch with past clients. They do whatever is necessary to accommodate their clients, within reason of course. For instance, since most of their clientele are busy professionals, the team works behind the scenes taking care of the details without burdening their clients with unnecessary details.
Don has been described as having the ability to connect with his clients in a way others often don’t. People who know Don, genuinely like him. This is due, in part, to the fact that he provides the consummate customer experience. Using his negotiating skills – honed from years in the corporate world – Don can get his clients the most money for their homes and/or the most home for their money.
In his belief that what you put into your community is what you get back, Don participates in fundraisers for The Children’s Miracle Network and donates a portion of every real estate transaction to this worthy cause.
