Hi Deidre,
To respond to your first question....when a home is under construction, there usually is flexibility in the "details" and at no cost. I would think that a home in this price range would already have granite or something similar.
The house is located off of Riceville Rd which is a 2-lane road leading to a 4-lane road, Tunnel Rd, which leads to the interstate. Unfortunately the hospital is not real close to the interstate so you have to deal with several lights to reach it. That said, the trip should not exceed 20 minutes from this house.
