Almost 20 year Anchorage resident that is professionally employed in IT Management and is also a part-time Professional Photographer.


I have been searching for a home to buy for a bit. Though little appeals to me and when something does I generally get railroaded by either the sellers agent or my own. Despite having being pre-approved for much more than I am trying to spend, 90% letter in hand, with cash money adequate to put down on a home purchase.


It would also be safe to generally say I have become very disenchanted with the whole real-estate Agent racket that this country has going on. With the availability of information out there, there is no reason that an individual that does their research and is serious about buying shouldn't be able to purchase (or sell) their home on their own.
