This is a terrific house, built by a very reputable local builder who grew up in Arlington. The Ventura Group currently has two new construction homes in the neighborhood of Woodmont that you might like to go see, just for their quality of construction. Those Woodmont homes are listed closer to $2million, but the cost of the land is an integral part of the cost of the home. One of those homes is already under contract, but the other is currently still active.

You can contact the Ventura Group directly at 703-536-8576, or ask for Jerry at 703-898-8785. Most builders will honor a commission to the buying agent, and that is something that can help you. There are a myriad of details that need to be worked out when you're working with a builder, and you often need some leverage to get them through the final punch list. Of course the commission is free to you -- as you probably know, the commission is always paid by the seller.

Kristen, The condo fee for this home is listed as $357/mo. It's hard to be sure that such a big dog would be permitted, as most condo buildings have a size restriction on pets, if they're allowed at all. I definitely suggest you check with the condo association directly, and that's tough to do on the weekend. Let me know if you'd like a contact # for making that call.
