In order to use the equity from your current home, you will need to have it appraised. Speak with a mortgage person about getting a home equity loan on your current house. You can typically only take 75% of the value for the home equity loan so keep that in mind. You might be able to use the home equity loan and get a small mortgage if there is not enough from the loan. Please keep us posted on how things work out for you!
