Hi Anna,
If your home is priced right it will sell anytime of the year. However, since I am a big fan of staging homes and keeping them in prestine condtion while on the market, I would encourage you to wait until the holiday season is over. It's a time to enjoy your family and friends and not concern yourself with keeping the house ready for buyers. Mid January would be a great time to put your home on the market and if it's priced right it will sell.
