I have had success with Flagstar in the past. Has the BPO been done? Do you know where you are in the process as far as where the file is at(setup,review, negotiating..etc?). Is the agent handling the short sale experienced in short sales? 6 months is way to long even with the volume banks are seeing. I can probably give you better insight with more information. Good short sale articles up at the below link if you would like some short sale information.
