""I first met Blaine when considering a move from S. FL to the Jacksonville area. Since I knew nothing about N. FL I had no idea of even where to start looking for a residence. When other realtors heard that I didn't have a definite moving date they did not want to be bothered with me at all. Hummm,

I can add to your confusion.

The thing to do is sell your home. Our market is declining, so get it sold. The condo market is really down, so you have your choice. But i would look to exclusive condos, on the beach. Those will come back sooner rather than later and you can also rent them out and break even if you get a good deal, and have another place to live.

bank owned and short sales are never lease to own. This property is as low as they go, for the condition it is in. Do an FHA loan, if you lack money down and buy the property. If your credit will not get you a FHA loan, then you will not be able to a lease to own either.

The bank can come in and do most anything, include sell the home. Your lease would normally protect you, but the foreclosure puts another owner in place. I have had lots of activity from those experiencing your issue.

You need to talk to a mortgage broker. Call TJ Sims at 904-874-1750. He will work with you to get the credit fixed. That is serious info, because not all brokers can or will do this.
