Hi Monahan,
Recently I was in a Real Estate class and our teacher asked us "What is your favorite High School?". Then he went down the row of seven people. None of those people gave the same school as their answer, and what they sited as their reasons for their best school qualification was different for each person! Consequently, you have to decide which schools are best for you and your family based on your personal qualifications.
Barbara has suggested some great ideas - look at test scores, etc. The other is to get in touch with the schools directly and ask them questions. Write the things down that you feel are important and be sure and ask each school the same questions.
Once you find the schools you are interested in then we can look for houses that are within close proximity to shopping, or other items of interest, like libraries.
It is a great starting point! Please contact me if you have any other questions! - Tue Dec 15 2009, 08:25
