"To Perspective General Contractor Client of Ask Nagel, I am a small business owner in the East Village and I own and occupy the property at 1742 W. Augusta Blvd next door to 1744 W. Augusta Blvd where Greg Nagel was the general contractor. This project was a total gut rehab where they dug out the basement, redid the roof, re-bricked the back of the building, and brought in gas and water service by opening up the street as well as new electrical service. Greg Nagel was very professional, concerned about the neighbors needs and concerns, worked to improve the neighborhood and worked green. Greg took to the time to introduce himself and Jim Boatman (owner of the 1744 W. Augusta) to the neighbors and shared building plans and schedule for the property. Greg left his contact information with the neighbors. Greg made sure that the project stayed on schedule, that the work site was kept clean, and there were no issues with the neighbors. Any issues that occurred were taken care of in a professional and timely manner. I think it is very fair to say that the improvement to 1744 W. Augusta also had positive impact on its neighbors. Greg was also a green general contractor by recycling and repurposing material. They removed the back wall of the building and reused the bricks and removed and reused the old fence. I was very impressed with the work product that was created, how fast the work was completed, and the courteous and professional way the job was done.
