There are always two sides to evey story. I suggest that that you revist with your lender and be completely educated on the home price you can afford and the percentage you need to put down on your next home. Invite your realtor to be apart of the final conversation so that you are all on the same page for you financing.
Secondly I would sit down with your realtor in front of a computer and go over your home requirments that meet your needs. From past experience I suggest that you be flexable on some of your requirement so that the field search opens up and you might find that your new home is just waiting for you.
Try to narrow down your search as much as possible online before you run out and waste your time riding around. Keep your focus on the top 3 things that you want for your next home and then narrow down the field.
Good luck! There are so many homes out there waiting for new owners that you will find your dream home.
