I met Andrea at an open house when I was beginning to think of making the move from LA to San Diego. Andrea was a wonderful windfall of information about the various areas within San Diego country, right down to the intricacies of the various neighborhoods and their values, their attributes, their potential negative impacts on my family's needs (location, commute, schools, local activities, other families our age, restaurants, etc., etc.). I knew when I met her at that initial open house that she was a wealth of knowledge, but as we began our relationship with house-hunting, I realized she was an endless source of contacts and know-how. She never, ever gave up on looking for what I knew I wanted and was afraid did not exist. We searched on and off for months, and I was often ready to throw in the towel, and Andrea never stopped keeping her eyes and ears open. Once she found the house she knew I would love, she was spot on! She aligned me with every single person I needed to "know" from beginning to end to make the process work -- Banks, Title, Insurance, Inspectors, Pool people, gardeners. The list goes on and on.... All I can say is that it is not easy to find a good house out there right now. If you want an agent that will get in touch with what you really want and not give up--even when you think you want to--then you need to have Andrea on your team. She is a fighter, and she will not give up on you, your experience, your dream, your vision. And she will negotiate every single detail that you ask her too and make it as important as if she were buying the house herself. She's a family friend now... and it all began with finding her and finding out I could trust her with this HUGE decision.
