I do not think you can accomplish this goal, hoever, it does not mean that home ownership is not in your future. I recomned you meet with a local lender (perhaps Andres below) and see if you can qualify on your own, and if not, put together a plan to fix what can be fixed on your husbands credit.
It may not be an easy journey, but the sooner you start the sooner you will arrive home!
