That is a tricky question. Usually the seller who is forced to do a short sale is also facing bancruptcy or some other financial issue. The listing agent's primary responsibility is to the owner and secondly to the bank. It is not like if you work with the listing agent it might save you some money because the bank is doing the payout. Get someone to represent yourself. - Wed Jun 3 2009, 17:15
