I can see why you feel as though your agent isn't trusting you, but I have to admit I do this as well. The bottom line is that most of us in the RE game are control freaks and we are expected to be. We are the glue who try to hold all transactions together until close. Frequently a listing agent will call us and ask if we have talked to the bank and if everything is still on track. At that point it is nice to say that you have and everything is fine as opposed to "gee I don't know".
Your agent is just trying to do their job and do it well. They have your best interests at heart and in fact I would be impressed that they are doing all the follow up.
Sounds like you are in good hands. Be glad they are involved and trying to head off any potential problems before they occur.
