I grew up in cities across the country prior to settling with my husband in the Madison Valley. Having grown up in crowded urban areas, I felt drawn to the simplicity of the smaller town environment. In the spring of 1999, I was offered an opportunity to try life in a small town while working on a guest ranch in Ennis, MT. The opportunity fit well with my schedule as an elementary school teacher so I packed my bags and headed east from Washington. It didn’t take long for me to realize that small-town life fit my personality well and I soon made the move permanent, finding teaching jobs in the local schools. Before long I met and married my husband and settled into the Ennis community permanently.
After working in teaching for nearly a decade, I decided to pursue another interest in real estate sales. After receiving my real estate license, I continued to work full time in the classroom while selling real estate in my spare time. In 2004, I studied to acquire my broker’s license and shortly after decided to work in the real estate field full time in order to better serve my clients’ needs.
I was instrumental in opening Fischer Realty in downtown Ennis in 2004 and worked there as the managing broker for over six years before being given the opportunity to join the Prudential Montana Real Estate team as the managing broker for the Ennis office. I find that real estate gives me the opportunity to meet and interact with new people on a daily basis which is one of my greatest passions. I pride myself on my exemplary service, honest nature, and hard-work ethic.
In addition, I have a passion for business and have created and opened two other businesses in Ennis. I opened Madison Square Athletic Club and Apex Management in 2005, and sold my share of each company in 2008 to focus full time on her real estate career. In my spare time I like to read, dabble in photography, and travel internationally for humanitarian causes.
