Mr. Berrios demonstrated excellent negotiating skills and sold my 2 family home in August of 2008 on the higher end of fair market value, in a buyer’s market with house values rapidly falling. From day one Mr. Berrrios presented me an information pamphlet detailing his experience, credentials and work ethic concerning customer service. He lived up to those expectations and in many cases exceeded them by: effectively dealing with my tenant for apartment showings, working with contractors for minor cosmetic repairs, informing me immediately of all offers for sale, updating me on the changing housing market conditions so as to adjust our sales strategy accordingly, personally delivering documents to the City of New York or Attorney’s office in cases where time was of the essence. Most importantly, I appreciated Mr. Berrios honesty and integrity in dealing with me. I really felt he was working for me personally and not just for his commission as I’ve experienced with other Realtors. If any of my friends or family are looking to sell their homes in the future I would insist that they work with Ruben. My only regret is that I wasted 6 months working with another Realtor whose marketing efforts to sell my house were outdated.
