Part Time Real Estate Agents

Patrick Mahony Phoenix Relocation Realtor MLS answered:
Welcome to the business Corey.

Part time, full time. part time?
I know a bunch of full time agents that spend half their time screwing off, or think full time is 30 hours a week.

The real problem with part time agents is that they are not part time. They are no time.

They have their Real Estate license, and usually represent family or friends. So they jump into the game and really don`t know what is going on.

They are not a threat to the full time agents, because they are not competitive.

The first rule for you Corey is to learn to ignore other Realtors, you could be full time "Worlds Greatest Realtor" and they will find something negative to say. You are entering the land of big ego`s.

Second...You may want to find a team of agents and work with them. I began as part of a team, went on to be a one man band, and now I am back to my old team. I am not the "sharing" type. I want all the money for myself, however being in a team enviorment I am 3x more productive, so therefore I earn 50% more, with a little less time spent.

Third....Get Gary Kellers " Millionaire Real Estate Agent" it is a great book and the only plan you want to follow. In addition follow http://www.Agentgenius.com http://www.bloodhoundblog.com and create a website like http://www.PhoenixRealEstateGuy.com
before you know it, you will be earning full time pay working part time

Good Luck

Randy, No address, 20 pics and not one of the front? That`s good detective work.
The real questions is how did you add the links to the left side of the FLEXMLS?
I like it!

Did you do it yourself or go through SEVAR? - Wed Dec 23 2009, 22:25

Commercial Referral Question

Patrick Mahony Phoenix Relocation Realtor MLS answered:
Mack has a great point on the "trust" factor.

Try this....

Find a commercial broker who will co list with you. That way you can "Learn & Earn"

Good Luck
