Patricia Cheaure has always been goal oriented and looks at challenges with a sparkle in her eye. As the President of her own Project Management Consulting firm for the past 10 years she has focused her attention on assisting small and large businesses with their marketing, sales and organizational needs.
After working with a Real Estate Broker client the beginning of 2011, whereby she was asked many questions by the new home owners, Patricia realized there was a need to provide new home owners with information that would be informative as well as beneficial to making their assimilating into their new community quickly, whether new to the area or to the state.
Patricia started her career in Sales with Xerox Corporation in San Diego, California and then transferred to the Hawaii office in 1975 where she met her husband of 35 years, Al Cheaure, who is now a retired United States Navy Submarine Officer. As a Navy family there were duty station moves to Guam, the United States Naval Academy, Hawaii for a second tour of duty and the lastly to Washington D.C. Patricia was hired by the Eastman Kodak’s Washington DC office in sales for the Microfilm Government Division. Later she moved into the Government special projects group working with Eastman Kodak’s Scientist and Engineers to test market such technologies as Infrared and Digital Cameras for government applications. Her next move was to the Government Relations Division where Patricia spent two years as a Lobbyist working with Congressional Representatives, Senators and their staffs on communications and electronic information legislation. Her last two years with Kodak were spent on the Digital Imaging marketing team introducing the new technology to the work place.
In 1996 the family moved to New Jersey when her husband became the President and CEO of the American Kennel Club. Patricia traveled extensively throughout the US and internationally, accompanying her husband as an ambassador for the AKC.
Patricia was born and reared in San Diego, California and is the second to the oldest of twelve children. She attended Fresno State and graduated from Hawaii Pacific University in 1985 with a Bachelor of Science Degree with an emphasis in Marketing. She received her Project Management Masters Certification training from George Washington University. In addition, Patricia attended professional sales training classes at Xerox and Eastman Kodak as well as management courses at Columbia University. Rudy, their dog, rules the household and has been designated as the company Chief of Employee Relations as he makes office rounds once a day. Patricia and Al have eight grandchildren and current live in Fuquay Varina, North Carolina where they resided for the past 8 years.
