"The first thing we did after taking the decision to purchase a vacation property in the Palm Springs area was do some online research to try and find a friendly, professional and knowledgeable real estate agent. We found that, and more, in Nancy Hankin. We knew our primary residence being in Canada would not make it easy to view suitable properties as they became available. Nancy kept in touch with us almost daily - providing us with information on all new listings that met our requirements. After putting together a list of properties to view we made the trip and began the search. As our time was limited we were hoping Nancy would be willing to spend a long day with us. She met us at our hotel and our search began. After finding the perfect property Nancy worked on putting the offer together for us late into the evening. Nancy recommended books for us to read on Canadians purchasing homes in the US. She also recommended areas in the desert to avoid and restaurants and other amenities to try. She provided us with contact numbers for service providers (and even made some of the calls for us). "I contacted Nancy by email and she immediately began to send me properties to view online. I scheduled a visit to Palm Springs and Nancy had arranged for me to view 18 condos in 2 days. I informed Nancy we had to do them all in one day! WE DID IT! The next day we wrote an offer for the very last condo we viewed the day before. While viewing condos with Nancy , she very quickly learned my likes and dislikes. After the offer was written, Nancy took the time to show me the highlights of neighboring communities and before long we had a call of offer acceptance.
