Good Morning Shannon,
There is no way to tell what is going to happen three years down the road. Most folks I know who have tried to get a Loan Modification have not been able to get them. Keep a close eye out read as much as you can and try to stay up on current events that will affect you in the coming years.
Loan Safe Org will give you a place to at least start to educate yourself on what others are doing, those that have loans resetting this year.
Good Luck..hopefully you won't have to give up your home.
