I agree with Adrian, Bank of America too has been really tight on their appraisals. I had one proeprty apppraise 250k one time and when Bank of America sent their appraisers out it only went for 180k. The buyer had to make up the difference. Overbidding only works if you have the appraisal contingency removed and the proof of funds to cover the difference.
