General duties include: Present & negotiate purchase offers. Coordinate with escrow companies, lenders, home inspectors, and pest control operators to ensure that terms and conditions of purchase agreements are met before closing dates or contract deadlines. Interview clients to determine what kinds of properties they are seeking. Prepare or review documents such as representation contracts, purchase agreements, closing statements, deeds and leases. Coordinate property closings, overseeing signing of documents and disbursement of funds. Act as an intermediary in negotiations between buyers and sellers, generally representing one or the other. Promote sales of properties through advertisements, open houses and alternative media sources. Prepare listing presentations; compare a subject property with similar properties that have recently sold in order to determine its competitive market price for seller’s consideration.

I was responsible for originating, shopping and placing loan files with wholesale lenders and performing complex administrative and clerical functions. Perform referral marketing, network marketing and telemarketing tasks, Advise, assist, and represent mortgage clients regarding home purchase or refinance. Able to gather, compile and analyze information from many different sources. Identify application requirements, underwriting requirements, and recommend loan products and solutions specific to the borrower’s needs and requests. As a team Leader I was also responsible for supervising and training a team of subordinate mortgage agents under my management they were also responsible for originating, shopping and placing loan files with wholesale lenders and performing basic administrative and clerical functions.
