NO do not give up! Are you also looking at homes that are not in foreclosure or short sale? There are so many great deals out there. Just because its a foreclosure does not mean its a good deal. Look at all the homes you have to choose from. Have you tried getting pre-approved for a RDA loan instead of FHA/Conv. and see if you can look at a broader price range.
