Agents aren't supposed to steer, but low commission means low motivation in most agents books.

Let me ask you - is your home such a fantastic deal that is the single best home in Williamsburg, VA?

If not, the commission isn't the only thing hold you back.

"better than nothing" - this is a laughable statement. I'm actually laughing out loud right now, seriously. As an agent with a buyer to help, unless your home is the best one for them, it's my duty in their best interest to show them something else and your commission (in theory) offering has now become motivation for me to NOT show your home. Buyer's agents get paid as long as the buyer buys a home (and the seller pays a commission) - so other sellers are paying more.

Probably missing the 3 acres.

LOL, it's overpriced for our market, but not ridiculous if someone is living in the past.

Math is cool 3 Acres is at least 6 homes. Still too much for the property, but you could see where they were coming from. - Tue Jun 23 2009, 18:45
