About:
Marketing for online exposure is what I do best. I realize more and more buyers are shopping online for their new home. When someone sees my listing on ... show more

A question to all realtors.

Lynne Ruffin answered:
I place a easy to remember website address on the flyer box. Thus, if the flyers run out, most buyers are savvy enough to look the property up online. I make an extra effort to see that my listings show on the 1st page of Google when someone searches by street name and city I want them to be able to find the listing. It is important to double check to make sure listings are syndicated to the top real estate portals. I have seen instances where I post to one portal and it lists all the other portals the listings are going to be syndicated to and that does not always happen. Follow-up and follow-through to marketing efforts are key with both traditional and newere methods. I post listings on Craigslist and make updates periodically within the 30 day timeframe and re-post after 30 days. Run open house ads in the newspaper because the paper also has an online version. I find advertising in publications that advertise both online and in print provide the most bang for the marketing efforts from reviewing website stats and syndication reports. - Sun Jun 14 2009, 12:55
