In Florida, property taxes are calculated on the Assessed Value of the home. Home Values are assessed every year. Taxes are paid in arrears. It differs from property type and area. Do you have a particular area or property you are looking at? The tax bill is already sent out, so any agent you are working with, will be able to get you the current taxes. It varies year to year.
