I love living in Marin! I am a native San Franciscan, and know the city well! Lots of fun! What I love about living and working in Marin, is that it is SO close to San Francisco for commuting, and going to the cultural events at the Opera, Ballet, Symphony, and ALL the delicious restaurants, activities. Commuting by ferry from Sausalito or Larkspur is a vacation in itself, by bus is relaxing, and by car from Sausalito is 10 MINUTES into the city! The views from lots of towns of San Francisco are magnificent! Marin has warmer weather, and the outdoor life is everywhere! hiking, biking trails of the Marin Headlands are multi million dollar views! Go sailing from Sausalito, Tiburon, San Rafael! Go kayaking and rowing from Sausalito and Larkspur! Play tennis in EVERY city in Marin! Go fishing from Sausalito and San Rafael! Ride horses in every town in West Marin, and you can keep your horses in many homes in Marin! 45 minutes to one hour to the WINE COUNTRY! Go to Stinson Beach on the weekends! Million dollar city and Golden Gate Bridge views from Tiburon and Belvedere! I love it all. I sail and teach sailing to women, or families. I also love dominoes and teach that also! I adore travelling, especially Italy, Lake Como is my ideal (reminds me of Sausalito!, cinque terra), and I also am working with taking children out sailing who have cancer, and their families, to simply forget about the stresses of those daily stresses, and go have a relaxing, fun time on the water and throw your fears away, if just for a day!
