The best person to help you resolve this issue is your agent. They know the contract best and the repairs involved. The solution to these types of issues are dependent on many variables. For example,

1.) Was the negotiated repair accompanied with an estimate? Did it exceed that estimate? Is it reasonable?
2.) Was the repair request written with a certain vendor in mind with a limit to expenses?
3.) Were other credits/repairs agreed to by seller completed satisfactorily?
4.) Is the deal worth throwing away for X dollars related to the repair or can a compromise be made by both parties?

It is my humble opinion that most contract issues can be resolved if all parties remain reasonable in their expectations. What would I do if I were the seller? Would I think this is fair if I were the buyer/seller?

Best of luck,
