The asking price is only an asking price. The SALES price is determined by what a buyer is willing to pay and a seller is willing to accept at any given time. Try not to stay optimistic when offering 10%-20% below asking price. Your Realtor should help support your offer with supporting comps from the last 30-45 days which should be included in your offer.
