Mark Martin answered:
Hi PJ,

The Houston Association of Realtors has a feature to research neighborhood price trends and homes sales prices. You can also find it at http://www.har.com/HomeValue/. Alternately, a realtor who is a member of the Houston Association of Realtors and Houston MLS can lookup a specific address in the MLS and view the history of the home, including asking/selling prices.

Please bear in mind that the State of Texas is a non-disclosure State, where a homes sale price is not required to be of public record. However, when a home is listed through the Houston MLS their required paperwork has language in it that allows the Houston Association of Realtors to display this information within their database.

Hope this helps!
