4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe teachers are wonderful, but unfortunately the administration isn't. With all the discipline problems in the upper grades, I had to remove both of my children. Most students at Jackson are very nice, but it was obvious that the associate principal was unwilling to take care of disrespect towards teachers and fellow students. Conversations with teachers whom were in my opinion, great women, basically ended in the fact their hands were tied and that the associate principal was rude and unapproachable.Parent Review9y ago - Sevier Middle School

"Drugs and drug addicts on every corner in Kingsport. Lived in Kingsport for 8 months and in that very short time span, 2 people were killed within a mile radius of me. Made me very uneasy. Moved across state line to VA, and made a huge difference in the community, people, and neighborhoods. Much nicer just across the state line"

"I work downtown. The commute to downtown is only 15 minutes and traffic is light. People typically drive in this area and there is very little public transportation. There are bike lanes downtown and the Greenbelt links up so if you live near the Greenbelt you could ride a bike to work if you work downtown."
