8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have two students at Creston. We love the teachers, staff and school community. The students get two PE periods, one music period, one art period, and one library period each week. The class sizes are small (for my students, ranging from 14 - 19 students per class). Kindergarteners loop with their teacher - meaning they have the same teacher, classmates and classroom again in first grade. This has been tremendous for my children in helping to build their relationships and confidence. Creston is a STEAM focus school (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) - there are various activities throughout the year that highlight these subject matters in fun and inclusive ways. We have a wonderful free (but seasonal) aftercare program, SUN, through local nonprofit Impact Northwest. We have (paid) onsite before and after care available via Champions. The students are highly supervised at recess and when playing in Creston Park. The PTA puts on social events for students, families, and adults - for example family movie nights in the school auditorium and virtual bingo night for adults. Both of my children have required additional social-emotional support in the past two years - and Creston staff always rise to the occasion. I would recommend Creston without reservation based on our personal experiences!Parent Review1y ago - Hosford Middle School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageStop lying, this principle lies and said she can handle situations that comes to this school. They talk to these kids crazy. This school is racist and has lots of drama and bullying. I will not recommend this school. I wish I would of did my research first. BE AWARE!Parent Review3mo ago - Franklin High School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI would rate my experience a 4/5. The one point I'm taking away is because I got mugged once, right outside the school. Some dudes walked up to me and stole my bus money. However, during the frightening ordeal, it also built a lot of character for me and taught me a valuable lesson on how not to get mugged at Franklin.Student Review3y ago - Check out schools near 3510 SE 61st Ave.

"We've lived here close to 5 years and have seen continuous improvements in the neighborhood. Recent infrastructure updates include multiple street repavings and a community garden. Established businesses thrive and new ones keep opening; a great beer tasting venue, a couple of restaurants and many others. There are a couple of dance studios and a classic theater is currently being refurbished for a new opening. And of course the Foster Streetscape Plan is moving forward, now with increased funding, to City Council final approval. "Up and coming" couldn't be more true for FoPo than it is today."

"Have lived here for 14 years. The neighborhood has shown significant improvement. Lots of places to walk or drive nearby. Great little store in the area also. The dogs love the nearby park as well."
